Yola is an early career artist hailing from West Yorkshire. Yola’s passions include feminist activism, psychology, and challenging systems that oppress. Yola’s work explores where these interests meet. Highlighting the hidden insidious ways in which the patriarchal capitalist hetero-normative ableist and racist systems affect the psyche of the people living in them. Yola’s work is often humorous as well as educational and promotes discourse around issues that are largely invisible.
